Total is an American R&B girl group that was originally active during the golden era of the genre in the mid-1990s. Comprising members Kima Raynor, Keisha Spivey, and Pamela Long, the trio was signed to Sean "Puffy" Combs' label, Bad Boy Records. They achieved notable success during this period, with their smooth harmonies and street-wise sensibility that epitomized the fusion of hip-hop and R&B during that time.

Total burst onto the scene with their debut single, "Can't You See," which featured a guest appearance by The Notorious B.I.G., becoming an instant hit. The group's self-titled debut album, 'Total,' released in 1996, spawned additional hits such as "No One Else," "Kissin' You," and "Do You Think About Us." The group also contributed to the success of other Bad Boy Records projects, most notably appearing on tracks with Mase and the iconic Lil' Kim. Despite a lengthy hiatus following their follow-up album 'Kima, Keisha, and Pam' in 1998, their music continues to resonate, as evidenced by the remaster of “Can't You See” for its 25th anniversary.
