Coszmos Quartette

Coszmos Quartette is a dynamic and innovative string quartet based in Barcelona, founded in 2014. Known for their captivating performances that span a wide repertoire from the 18th century to contemporary music, they have quickly made a name for themselves as one of the most exciting quartets of their generation. Praised for their personal sound and expressive style, they have garnered international recognition by winning prestigious competitions, including the First Prize at the Irene Steels - Wilsing Foundation Competition in 2018 and multiple other awards in Europe. They have also been ensemble in residence at the iconic Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona from 2021 to 2024, showcasing the works of great composers like Schumann, Brahms, and Webern.

The quartet’s members have honed their craft under renowned mentors and through advanced studies at esteemed institutions such as the Hochschule für Musik Theater und Medien Hannover.
