Avicii

Avicii, born Tim Bergling on September 8, 1989, in Stockholm, Sweden, was a revolutionary figure in the Electronic Dance Music (EDM) scene. Renowned for his melodic prowess and innovative sound, Avicii rose to global fame with his 2011 smash hit "Levels," which helped catapult electronic music into mainstream culture. His 2013 release "Wake Me Up," featuring Aloe Blacc, further solidified his status as an EDM luminary, blending acoustic folk elements with electronic beats—a testament to his genre-defying approach to music production.

Despite his relatively short career, Avicii's impact on the music industry was profound. His album "True" (2013) and its follow-up "Stories" (2015) were acclaimed for their creativity and depth, earning him a reputation as a master of the dance music narrative. Tragically, Avicii's life was cut short when he died by suicide on April 20, 2018, leaving behind a legacy of inspiring and uplifting music. Posthumously, his third studio album "TIM" was released in 2019, compiled from the music he was working on before his death, serving as a poignant reminder of his artistic vision and ability to connect with fans worldwide. The continuous release of remixes and tributes, such as "SOS (Laidback Luke Tribute Remix)" and "Forever Yours (Avicii Tribute)," reflect the enduring impact of his musical contributions and the deep respect he continues to garner within the industry.
