Born in Tiruchirappalli and raised in Chennai, RANJ draws deep inspiration from her roots, blending the rich heritage of her childhood Carnatic music training with the raw energy of contemporary rap and pop. Over twelve years of rigorous vocal training have honed her craft, allowing her to weave together classical melodies and modern beats in a way that feels fresh and authentic. Now based between Chennai and Bengaluru, RANJ continues to make waves with her soulful voice and relatable songwriting, exploring themes of love, vulnerability, and self-discovery in her music.

Whether on her own or collaborating with longtime partner Clifr (as part of the duo RANJ x Clifr), she consistently delivers genre-blending tracks that resonate with today’s young listeners.
