Peter Matson

Peter Matson is a Brooklyn-based musician, producer, and DJ, best known as the founder and frontman of the NYC band Underground System. This band is recognized for its futuristic afro-funk sound and global dance music. Beyond his work with Underground System, Matson explores solo projects, blending hazy club music with eclectic influences. He has collaborated with notable artists and labels, such as Razor-N-Tape's Jkriv and Bastard Jazz. His recent solo releases showcase a diverse range of musical styles, from experimental electronic tracks to soulful disco offerings.

Matson has developed a unique musical voice, influenced by his studies at The New School in New York and experiences in the NYC jazz scene.
