Ismail Lumanovski

Ismail Lumanovski is a virtuoso clarinetist known for his electrifying performances that blend classical precision with the fiery spirit of Balkan and Middle Eastern music. Born in Macedonia and trained at the Juilliard School, Lumanovski has carved out a unique space in the world music scene, bridging Eastern and Western musical traditions. He's a founding member of The Secret Trio, an ensemble that combines clarinet, kanun, and oud to create dynamic and intricate soundscapes that defy genre boundaries.

In addition to his work with The Secret Trio, Lumanovski has performed as a soloist and chamber musician with orchestras and ensembles around the globe.
