Taurus Mcee

Taurus Mcee, born David Kiwumulo, is a talented Ugandan rapper, songwriter, graphics designer, and entrepreneur. Born on April 21, 1997, he is known for infusing Luganda and English into his music, creating a unique blend of new school hip-hop, trap, and afro rap. Core influences in his work include hip-hop culture, philanthropy, and Pan-Africanism. Taurus Mcee has achieved notable success, including winning the Club Evoke Midnight Drum Rap and Poetry competition in 2019 and featuring on the "Uganda Yaffe All Star Remix" alongside GNL Zamba. He has been associated with Baboon Forest Entertainment, where he also works as a graphics designer and content creator. Some of his notable tracks include "If You Know You Know," "Lujjemu," and "Kiika." An EP titled "OFF BOOK" is in the works, further solidifying his position as a rising star in African rap.
