SAFIA

SAFIA is an Australian electronic music trio hailing from Canberra, formed in 2012. The group consists of Ben Woolner (vocals/producer), Michael Bell (drums), and Harry Sayers (guitar/synths/producer). With a sound characterized by a blend of electronica, indie pop, and neo-soul, SAFIA has made a significant impact on the Australian music scene. They garnered national attention with their breakthrough single "Listen to Soul, Listen to Blues" in 2013, and their reputation continued to grow with subsequent hits such as "Take Me Over" in collaboration with fellow Australian act Peking Duk, further cementing their status as a fresh and dynamic force in the music industry.

Their debut album, "Internal", released in 2016, achieved remarkable success, reaching number two on the ARIA Albums Chart, demonstrating their ability to craft infectious hooks and deeply resonant lyrics. Following "Internal", the trio continued to evolve their sound and build upon their foundation. In 2019, they released their sophomore album, "Story's Start or End", which showcased their maturity as songwriters and producers, featuring tracks like "Resolution" and "Think We're Not Alone". With their most recent singles such as "A Lover’s Guide to a Lucid Dream" and "Float", SAFIA continues to explore the depths of electronic music, weaving vivid storytelling with emotive melodies and atmospheric soundscapes, captivating fans both within Australia and across the globe.
