Philip Masure

Philip Masure is a Belgian guitarist and singer, renowned for his expertise in the DADGAD open tuning technique, earning him the title "the king of DADGAD." Born on June 16, 1966, in Schoten, Antwerp, he has been a key figure in various traditional and folk music groups in Belgium, including Orion, Laïs, and Urban Trad. Masure has also been involved in Irish music with the group Comas. He has contributed to over 100 albums as a studio musician and frequently works as a producer.
