Tennis

Tennis is an indie pop band that hails from Denver, Colorado. Comprised of the husband-and-wife duo Alaina Moore and Patrick Riley, the band formed after the couple embarked on a sailing expedition down the Eastern Atlantic Seaboard. Upon their return, they began writing music together, inspired by their nautical journey. Their sound is noted for its bright melodies, lush production, and nostalgic nods to '70s soft rock and vintage pop, with Alaina Moore's clear, sweet vocals being a defining feature.

Their discography showcases a unique blend of charm and introspective lyricism, often reflecting on personal experiences, relationships, and the complexities of life. With multiple albums and EPs to their credit, including the critically acclaimed "Young & Old" (2012) and "Yours Conditionally" (2017), Tennis has garnered a dedicated fanbase and solidified their place in the indie music scene. Singles such as "Need Your Love" and "Runner" from their 2020 album "Swimmer" continue to fortify their reputation for creating evocative, timeless music, while their standalone releases and live sessions, like "Tennis on Audiotree Live," display their dynamism and capacity to captivate audiences with an intimate, heartfelt performance.
