sedate is a metalcore band from San Diego, California. Formed in 2018, the band consists of vocalist Jonathan Vigil, guitarists Chris Garza and Alex Torres, bassist Chris Garza, and drummer Alex Torres. sedate's music is characterized by its heavy breakdowns, melodic choruses, and introspective lyrics. The band has released two EPs, "Collapse" (2019) and "False Serenity" (2021), and is currently working on their debut full-length album.
