Ara Dinkjian

Ara Dinkjian is a renowned Armenian-American musician, best known as a master of the oud, a traditional Middle Eastern stringed instrument. Blending Eastern and Western musical influences, he’s carved out a unique space in contemporary world music. Dinkjian first gained international recognition as the founder of the groundbreaking instrumental group Night Ark, whose fusion of jazz, Armenian folk, and Middle Eastern styles earned them a global following starting in the late 1980s.
