Madame Gandhi

Madame Gandhi is a Los Angeles-based artist, activist, and electronic music producer known for her empowering lyrics, inventive percussion, and strong feminist message. Formerly the touring drummer for M.I.A. and Thievery Corporation, Gandhi has since carved out a distinct solo career, blending experimental beats with spiritual and political themes. With a background in mathematics and an MBA from Harvard, she brings a unique perspective to the music world, championing gender equality and social justice through her art.

Her EP trilogy—which includes Voices (2016), Visions (2019), and Vibrations (2022)—explores personal and collective empowerment, set to dynamic rhythms and meditative electronic textures. Gandhi is also known for her vibrant stage presence and TED Talk on female empowerment in music. Her work often incorporates elements like guided meditation and nature-inspired soundscapes, as seen in tracks like “Let Me Be Water” and “Antarctica: Guided Meditation,” reflecting both her artistic range and her commitment to wellness and activism.
