**j3tt** (Tyler William Prescott) is an independent singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born on October 10, 1989, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Penn State University with a degree in Cyber Security, Prescott taught himself piano and guitar, eventually relocating to Los Angeles to pursue music full-time. His early basement demos earned him a 5-day recording session at Clear Track Studios in Clearwater, Florida, resulting in his self-titled EP, which received worldwide rotation on Pandora Internet Radio. Music Connection recognized him as the second top new artist based on his eponymous release.

Beyond his solo work, j3tt is an accomplished entrepreneur and producer. In 2015, he was recognized by The Knot as the top solo musician in Los Angeles. He founded PennyFly Entertainment in 2017, which has become the only record label to earn placement on Pepperdine University's Top 100 "Most Fundable Companies" list in both 2020 and 2022. Throughout his career, j3tt has worked with over 300 artists across multiple genres and has been featured in *Rolling Stone* as a member of their expert panels.
