Milan Řehák, born in 1994, is a highly acclaimed Czech accordionist known for his progressive style and technical mastery. He began playing the accordion at the age of six and went on to study at the Prague Conservatory under Professor Josef Hřebík. Later, he continued his studies at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Řehák has achieved significant success in international competitions, including a notable victory in Pula, Croatia, in 2012. This win led to performances for the European Broadcasting Union and at prominent festivals in Stockholm, Dresden, Salzburg, and Milan.
Milan Řehák's repertoire spans original compositions, baroque pieces, virtuosic transcriptions, and popular arrangements. He has released several albums, including "Buttonfield," "Baroque Beat," "Uncharted Waters," "Aerial," "Aerial Vol. 2," "Stories," and "Essential." Apart from his solo work, Řehák collaborates with artists like Swedish cellist Johannes Rydén and Czech cellist Kristina Vocetková, contributing to the international music scene with innovative chamber music projects.
