Hot Rod Circuit is an American emo/punk rock band that came out of New Haven, Connecticut. They became a familiar name in the early‑2000s scene thanks to punchy, melodic songwriting and big, hooky choruses, releasing music through labels like Vagrant Records. One of their best‑known full-lengths is *Sorry About Tomorrow* (2002), which helped cement them as part of that era’s wave of emotionally charged, guitar‑driven rock.
Over the years, their catalog has included releases like *If It’s Cool With You, It’s Cool With Me* and *Reality’s Coming Through*, along with later material such as *The Underground Is a Dying Breed* and an acoustic companion EP. Even as trends shifted, Hot Rod Circuit’s mix of urgent pop‑punk energy and emo heart stayed at the center of what they do.
