H-Town, an American R&B vocal group, hails from Houston, Texas, and was formed in 1990. The group originally consisted of lead vocalist Keven "Dino" Conner, his twin brother Solomon "Shazam" Conner, and their longtime friend Darryl "G.I." Jackson. They quickly gained fame in the early 1990s with their sensual ballads and harmonious vocals. H-Town's debut album, “Fever for Da Flavor,” was released in 1993 and produced the hit single “Knockin' Da Boots,” which became a massive success, catapulting the group to the forefront of the R&B scene.
Over the years, H-Town continued to release music that resonated with fans of traditional R&B, marked by their signature blend of soulful harmonies and romantic lyrics. Despite the tragic loss of Dino Conner in a car accident in 2003, the group persevered, with Shazam and G.I. continuing to perform and release music in his memory. Their discography spans several albums and singles, including more recent releases like “Pac Man,” “Strokey Doke,” and “Green Light 713,” showcasing their ability to adapt and evolve with the changing music landscape while staying true to their R&B roots. H-Town's legacy in the genre is marked by their dedication to crafting heartfelt music that captures the complexities of love and relationships.
