Blackout Problems is a dynamic alternative rock band hailing from Munich, Germany. Formed in 2012, the quartet quickly made a name for themselves with their energetic live performances and a sound that combines post-hardcore, indie, and electronic influences. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Mario Radetzky, guitarist Marcus Schwarzbach, bassist Michael Dreilich, and drummer Moritz Hammrich.
After establishing a solid foundation with their debut album "Holy" in 2016, Blackout Problems has continued to evolve their style, exploring darker and more reflective themes both musically and lyrically. Their most recent releases reflect this progression, showcasing their ability to blend intense emotion with intricate compositions. Notable tracks like "GLOFS," featuring Rou Reynolds from Enter Shikari, displays their collaborative spirit and knack for genre-blending. The introspective "AMILYA" and the anthemic "ROME" exhibit their storytelling prowess, while live recordings such as "DARLING (LIVE)" and "GERMANY, GERMANY (LIVE)" capture the raw energy and connection with their fans during performances. Their albums 'KAOS’ and ‘DARK’ further illustrate Blackout Problems' quest to push boundaries and address complex societal issues through their music, solidifying their place in the European alternative music scene.
