Rexanthony, whose real name is Anthony Bartoccetti, was born in 1977 in Fabriano, Italy, and is recognized as a key figure in the Italian and international electronic music scene since the early 1990s. Starting out as a piano student at a young age, he quickly developed a passion for synthesizers, sequencers, and experimental music—leading him to compose and perform his own techno, trance, and hardcore tracks. His early release “Gas Mask” debuted in 1991, followed by international hits like “An.Tho.Ny,” “For You Marlene,” and “Gener-Action,” with tracks appearing on major charts in Europe and Japan. Rexanthony became widely known for producing the “Techno Shock” album series (volumes 4–10) and for his work with the iconic Cocoricò club, where several of his releases became historic anthems. As a producer and live performer, he has continued to release music, collaborate with other DJs, and serve as artistic director for music labels, demonstrating a lasting influence on the electronic music world.
In recent years, Rexanthony has remained active with remixes, new singles, and collaborations, including notable releases like “Run For Freedom,” “Rise Again,” and the “Capturing Matrix (2020 Remixes),” keeping his innovative spirit alive within the global music community.
