Kaz Kasozi

Kaz Kasozi is a multi-talented musician born in Uganda, known for his work as a multi-instrumentalist and producer/arranger. He began his musical journey by singing choral and traditional songs in his school's performance troop before moving to England in 1989. This move allowed him to explore his artistic voice further and learn various instruments like the piano, cello, and African percussion. Over the years, Kaz has been part of several funk, soul, and world fusion bands, performing at prominent venues including the Jazz Cafe in London and the Zenith in Paris. He has worked with notable artists such as Peewee Ellis and Papa Wemba.

Kaz Kasozi has released several albums, including "The Quest" in 1998, "Naked & Blue" in 2005, and "Dance with Me" in 2012. He has also worked as a music director for various bands and has been involved in producing and arranging music for over 30 artists. Kaz currently operates as a freelance producer, arranger, and workshop leader, balancing his career as a world fusion solo performer. He spends his time between London and Kampala, continuing to contribute to the vibrant music scene with his unique blend of styles and talents.
