Shreddy Krueger

Shreddy Krueger is a post-hardcore band from Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, formed in 2011. The band consists of Jordan Chase on vocals, David Ecker on guitar, Ryan Loerke on drums, and Jeffery David Bryan on bass, with Tristan Rattink formerly handling bass duties. Their music career began with the release of a demo sampler, followed by their debut EP *Curses* in 2012. The band has since released two full-length albums: *The Grieving* in 2013 (reissued in 2015) and *Deeper Darker* in 2015. All these albums were released through InVogue Records. Shreddy Krueger's sound is rooted in post-hardcore with elements of alternative rock and experimental music, reflecting the band's diverse musical influences.

The formation of Shreddy Krueger followed the hiatus of Secret and Whisper, a band that Jordan Chase, David Ecker, and Ryan Loerke were previously part of. Their music often explores themes of heavy, melodic components, drawing inspiration from bands like Norma Jean and He Is Legend. Over the years, Shreddy Krueger has also released cover tracks, such as "This Could Be Anywhere in the World" (originally by Alexisonfire) and "My Hero" (originally by Foo Fighters).
