Bruce Adams

Bruce Adams is a seasoned jazz trumpeter and flugelhorn player hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, with a rich musical heritage—his father was a guitarist active since the 1930s British dance band era. Inspired initially by Django Reinhardt's guitar work, Bruce took up the trumpet and built a strong presence in the European jazz scene. Over the years, he has performed widely across Europe, sharing stages with well-known musicians and appearing at numerous jazz festivals. He has been recognized with awards such as Best Trumpet and Outstanding Soloist in notable big band competitions, including the Holsten Jazz Journal Big Band and the BBC Big Band competitions.

Bruce has an extensive discography starting from the 1990s with albums like *One Foot in the Gutter*, *Sidesteppin'*, and *Let's Face The Music and Dance*, many recorded in collaboration with prominent jazz artists such as Alan Barnes. Bruce is also an endorsee of Eclipse Brass and regularly plays an Eclipse Celeste trumpet along with cornet and flugelhorn.
