Karner is a black metal band from Austria that was formed in 2018. The band's name is derived from the German word for "charnel house," and their music is characterized by its dark, atmospheric, and often dissonant sound. Karner's lyrics are typically written in German and deal with themes of death, loss, and the occult. The band has released two full-length albums, "Berg wocht" (2020) and "Untam Liacht tota Stern" (2022), as well as a demo, "Knochnkerker Demo 2018." Karner has toured extensively throughout Europe and has shared the stage with bands such as Mayhem, Watain, and Marduk.
