Lukas Graham

Lukas Graham is a Danish pop and soul band that burst onto the international music scene with their heart-tugging melodies and insightful lyrics about life, love, and growing up. The band was formed in 2011 and is led by charismatic lead vocalist and namesake, Lukas Forchhammer, who grew up in a self-governing artistic community called Christiania in the heart of Copenhagen. The band also includes drummer Mark Falgren, bassist Magnus Larsson, and keyboardist Morten Ristorp. They garnered widespread acclaim with their self-titled album in 2012, which included hits like "Drunk in the Morning" and "Better Than Yourself (Criminal Mind Pt. 2)."

Lukas Graham's poignant storytelling was thrust into the global spotlight with their smash single "7 Years" from their second album (which was their first released internationally), which was nominated for three Grammy Awards and topped charts around the world. As they explore themes of family, legacy, and loss, their music resonates with a vast audience, allowing their fan base to grow exponentially. The band's discography, characterized by soulful vocals and pop craftsmanship, includes the reflective "4 (The Pink Album)" as well as a range of singles and live recordings that showcase their dynamic performances. With each release, such as "Home Movies" and the Khalid-collaboration "Wish You Were Here," Lukas Graham continues to demonstrate their evolution as artists and ability to connect with listeners through meaningful narratives and engaging melodies.
