Ulises Butrón was a renowned Argentine musician, guitarist, singer, and producer, born on July 22, 1962, in Buenos Aires. He began his career in the early 1980s and was part of several influential bands, including Siam, Metrópoli, and the initial lineup of Soda Stereo. Butrón also collaborated with notable artists like Luis Alberto Spinetta, Miguel Mateos, and Fito Páez. In the 1990s, he formed La Guardia del Fuego and later the group Triangular. He was known for his work on the soundtrack of the film *Tango Feroz: La leyenda de Tanguito*, where he provided the voice for the character Tanguito. Butrón released solo albums, including *Viajero* and *Lejos*, and was recognized as one of the top guitarists in Argentine rock by Rolling Stone.
Throughout his career, Butrón was a versatile musician who contributed to various genres and projects, from rock to film soundtracks. He worked as a session musician and producer for numerous artists, leaving a lasting impact on the Argentine music scene. Unfortunately, Ulises Butrón passed away on January 21, 2019, due to complications from pneumonia.
