Junior Marvin

Junior Marvin is a Jamaican-born guitarist and singer best known for his long-time work with Bob Marley & The Wailers. He joined the legendary reggae band in 1977, just in time to contribute to their iconic album Exodus, and stayed with the Wailers through their final years, playing a key role in shaping their signature sound. His expressive solos and soulful vocals helped bring a new dimension to the group’s music during Marley’s later albums.

After Bob Marley's passing, Junior Marvin continued performing with various iterations of The Wailers and also pursued solo projects, carrying on the reggae legacy with albums that blend roots, rock, and a deep spiritual message. Known for his warm stage presence and distinctive guitar style, Marvin remains a respected figure in reggae music, keeping the spirit of conscious lyrics and infectious grooves alive for new generations of fans.
