Mondrian Ensemble
Mondrian Ensemble is a contemporary classical music group based in Basel, Switzerland. Founded in 1994, the ensemble is known for its adventurous programming and commitment to performing new and innovative works. Mondrian Ensemble has collaborated with some of the world's leading composers, including Helmut Lachenmann, Wolfgang Rihm, and George Benjamin. The ensemble has also premiered numerous works by Swiss composers, including Jürg Wyttenbach, Daniel Ott, and Dieter Ammann.
