Corona

Corona is an Italian Eurodance band synonymous with the 90’s dance music explosion, epitomized by their global hit "The Rhythm of the Night." The band was fronted by Brazilian-born singer Olga de Souza, but it was the brainchild of producer Francesco "Checco" Bontempi, also known as Lee Marrow, who masterminded the operation behind the scenes. Corona’s debut album, also named "The Rhythm of the Night," was released in 1995 and went on to become a monumental success, with singles charting across Europe and the United States.

Aside from their signature hit, Corona enjoyed success with tracks like "Baby Baby," which further solidified their standing in club culture. Over the years, their classic hits have been remixed and re-released, keeping the spirit of the original recordings alive while adapting them to contemporary music trends. "The Power of Love," another popular track, has been remixed several times, demonstrating the enduring appeal of their dancefloor anthems. Despite the shifts in musical tastes over the decades, Corona remains an enduring symbol of 90's dance music, with their infectious beats and melodies continuing to energize new and nostalgic audiences alike.
