Quruli (くるり) is a Japanese rock band that has been a staple in their country's music scene since their formation in 1996. Originating from Kyoto, the band was founded by core members Shigeru Kishida (vocals and guitar) and Masashi Sato (bass), with drummer Yusuke Takaki joining later on. Over the years, Quruli's sound has evolved and expanded, embracing a diverse range of genres such as pop, electronic, folk, and classical music.
