Black Tropics is a psychedelic rock band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 2010, the band consists of vocalist and guitarist Chris Woodhouse, bassist and vocalist Jessica Zambri, and drummer Anthony Paterra. Their music is characterized by its heavy use of reverb, fuzz, and delay, creating a dreamy and atmospheric sound. Black Tropics has released four albums to date, including their self-titled debut in 2012 and "Dragon Blood" in 2019. Their latest album, "Devil's Kings," was released in 2022 and has been praised for its expansive and experimental sound.
