Duilio Meucci

A student of Angelo Gilardino and trained under Dušan Bogdanović at the Haute école de musique de Genève, Meucci has established himself as an insightful interpreter of modern guitar repertoire. Since his recording debut in 2008, he has gained recognition, notably as the dedicatee of Bogdanović’s piece “Trois à propos” for guitar and viola. Meucci's work includes the complete solo guitar compositions of Reginald Smith Brindle, released on the prestigious Naxos label, showcasing his dedication to exploring lesser-known 20th-century composers.

His discography also highlights chamber music collaborations, emphasizing the guitar’s role within ensemble settings, following his belief that chamber music is vital for the classical guitar’s evolution.
