Apostle Of Hustle

Apostle of Hustle is a Canadian indie rock band known for its eclectic blend of sounds, drawing from a diverse array of cultural influences. Formed in 2001 by Broken Social Scene guitarist Andrew Whiteman, the band introduced their distinct style with the debut album, "Folkloric Feel" in 2004. They quickly carved out a niche for themselves within the indie music scene with their sophisticated and worldly approach to music-making, seamlessly fusing elements of Latin rhythms with indie rock sensibilities.

Building on the acclaim of their debut, Apostle of Hustle continued to push musical boundaries with subsequent releases such as "National Anthem of Nowhere" in 2007 and "Eats Darkness" in 2009. Both albums demonstrated the band's evolution in sound and confirmed their status as musical innovators. Despite their esoteric influences, songs like "My Sword Hand's Anger" and "U King" showcase their ability to create compelling and accessible music, maintaining a loyal fan base and earning critical recognition for their adventurous and spirited sonic explorations. With Whiteman at the helm, Apostle of Hustle maintained a reputation for delivering thought-provoking lyrics and rich, layered compositions.
