A Transylvanian Funeral

A Transylvanian Funeral is a Black Metal band from Tucson, Arizona, formed in 2008. The band is known for its occult and anti-religious themes in their lyrics. A Transylvanian Funeral is essentially a one-man project, with Sleepwalker being the sole member responsible for all instruments and vocals. Sleepwalker also owns Forbidden Records, the label through which many of the band's releases have been distributed. The band has released three full-length albums: their self-titled debut in 2009, "The Outsider" in 2010, and "Gorgos Goetia" in 2013. Additionally, they have participated in several split albums, showcasing their raw and unforgiving black metal style.

Their music often reflects an old-school black metal sound, with "Gorgos Goetia" being noted for its aggressive and dark approach. Despite being a one-man band, A Transylvanian Funeral has managed to carve out a niche in the underground black metal scene with their distinctive sound and thematic focus. However, the band is currently listed as split-up according to some sources.
