Downtown Struts

Downtown Struts kicked off in 2008 in Chicago, with two members hailing from Northern California and two from the Midwest, blending punk's raw energy with Americana heart—think influences like The Clash, Bruce Springsteen, Rancid, and The Replacements. The band's lineup features Dan on vocals/guitar, Zach on drums, Ryan on bass/vocals, and Ben on guitar/vocals, delivering passionate, melodic songs packed with drive and aggression, honed through relentless US and European tours.

They dropped their debut EP *Sail the Seas Dry* early on, followed by the full-length *Victoria!* loaded with anthems like "Anchors," "Postcards," and "Back to N.Y.," and have kept the fire going with releases like *Hope You're Dope*, *Victory*, and the recent *Childhood/Ceremony*. After some time apart—like guitarist Ben Hjelmstad heading to California—these Chicago punk rockers made a comeback, celebrating with vinyl re-presses and streaming on all platforms.
