Markus Fagervall

Markus Fagervall is a Swedish singer who rose to fame by winning the third season of Swedish Idol in 2006. Born on October 5, 1982, in Kiruna, Sweden, Markus comes from a diverse background with a Tornedalian father and a Finnish mother, making him fluent in Finnish and Meänkieli. Before his Idol win, he was the vocalist for the progressive rock band Liquid Scarlet. His debut single "Everything Changes" hit number one on the Swedish charts, and his first album, *Echo Heart*, released in December 2006, was certified double platinum. Markus is known for his pop and rock style, and he has been active musically since 2006.

In addition to his music career, Markus participated in the Swedish version of Dancing on Ice in 2008. His recent music includes tracks like "Close But No Cigar," "Echo Heart," and "Everything Changes," showcasing his continued presence in the Swedish music scene.
