Mestre Anderson Miguel is a prominent figure in the Brazilian music scene, known for his deep roots in traditional northeastern rhythms such as maracatu and ciranda. Born in Nazaré da Mata, Pernambuco, a place famous for maracatu, he grew up immersed in this rich cultural heritage, beginning his musical journey at a very young age and eventually becoming a mestre (master) of the Maracatu Águia Misteriosa group by his mid-teens. His work blends traditional percussion and poetic lyricism with modern sounds, reflecting a vibrant and evolving connection to Brazilian folk music.

He gained wider recognition with his 2018 album *Sonorosa*, produced by Siba and featuring acclaimed artists like Juçara Marçal and Jorge Du Peixe.
