Juno Francis

Juno Francis is a Berlin-based indie synth pop duo originally from Sweden, comprising Angelica Ranåsen and Jacob Fagerstål. They met through mutual friends in Berlin and quickly formed a creative bond that led to the birth of Juno Francis. Their sound is a captivating blend of dreamy 60s psychedelia and vibrant 80s synth-pop, often drawing comparisons to artists like Giorgio Moroder and Daft Punk, as well as evoking the nostalgic vibes of Stevie Nicks and 80s electronic pop. Their music frequently explores themes of love, heartbreak, mental health, and lust, wrapped in shimmering, glamorous production.

Since their debut with singles like “Dance With Me” and “Queen’s Anthem,” Juno Francis has steadily gained recognition for their sultry, anthemic synth-driven pop. Their debut EP, *Oyster Love*, came after months of collaborative writing and is rich with personal experiences and emotional depth. The duo continues to create music that combines vintage inspirations with a modern twist, crafting a soundscape that’s both nostalgic and fresh. Their debut album *Melancholia* was released in 2025 on Italians Do It Better, further cementing their place in the indie synth pop scene.
