Edgewater was an American rock band from the Dallas, Texas area that formed in the late 1990s. The band consisted of lead vocalist Matt Moseman, guitarist Micah Creel, bassist Ricky Wolking, drummer Jeremy Rees, and rhythm guitarist Cameron Woolf. They were known for their post-grunge sound, blending hard rock with a melodic overlay, which resonated with fans of the evolving rock scene of the early 2000s. Edgewater gained a following with their energetic live shows and emotionally compelling lyrics, securing them a place in the hearts of rock enthusiasts.
Although Edgewater disbanded in 2006, their music continues to captivate listeners. Their most recent releases, including "A Timeless Princess (The Queen Stood Down in Order for All to Stand)," "Seasons Change," and "South Of Sideways," showcase the band's signature style, blending intense guitar riffs with evocative poetic lyricism. The album "South of Sideways," in particular, managed to capture wider attention with its mix of anthemic choruses and brooding atmospherics. While Edgewater may no longer be active as a unit, their musical legacy endures through the passion of their fan base and the relative timelessness of their discography.
