Saving Abel

Saving Abel is an American rock band formed in Corinth, Mississippi, in 2004 by Jared Weeks and Jason Null. The band's name references the biblical story of Cain and Abel, reflecting a theme of redemption that runs through their songs. Their sound is often characterized by a blend of Southern rock, alternative rock, and post-grunge influences. They stormed onto the music scene with their self-titled debut album released in 2008, which was a commercial success thanks to the hit single, "Addicted."

Over the years, Saving Abel has built a reputation for their hard-hitting lyrics and rousing guitar riffs. They continued to produce a string of albums and EPs that resonated with fans, including "Miss America" (2010) and "Bringing Down the Giant" (2012). Although the band has seen numerous lineup changes, they have consistently delivered music with a raw and energetic sound. Songs like "The Sex is Good" and "Bringing Down the Giant" showcase the band's ability to meld personal storytelling with powerful anthems. The band's more recent releases, such as the "Shade of Grace - 20 Year Songs" collection, pay homage to their history while continuing to excite listeners with new material like the energetic track "Fire." Despite the changing dynamics in the music industry and within the band itself, Saving Abel continues to tour and produce gritty, heartfelt rock music that keeps their loyal fan base coming back for more.
