The Latin Brothers

The Latin Brothers is an esteemed Colombian salsa band that has been a staple in the vibrant Latin music scene since its formation in the early 1970s. Pioneered by the record label Discos Fuentes, the group was created as a sister act to the already established Los Corraleros de Majagual, with the intention of capitalizing on the growing popularity of salsa music. They quickly distinguished themselves as one of the pivotal acts in the genre, hiring various lead singers or 'soneros' over the years, including the legendary Piper Pimienta Diaz, Joe Arroyo, and Johnny Vasquez.

Over the years, their captivating sound, characterized by a blend of traditional Colombian rhythms such as cumbia and porro with broader Caribbean influences like salsa and son, has granted them enduring success. With recent releases such as "Aromas de Navidad" and "No Hay Palabras," The Latin Brothers continue to demonstrate their musical versatility and adaptability. Their prolific discography boasts a multitude of albums and hit singles, represented by collections such as "Historia Músical - 30 Éxitos" and "Discos Fuentes Collection," working as a testament to their lasting impact on the genre of salsa and Latin music as a whole. Whether stirring the dance floor with energetic numbers or evoking emotions with heartfelt melodies, The Latin Brothers remain an iconic force delivering the irresistible sounds of the Caribbean to the world.
