Jaill

Jaill is an indie rock band hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Their music spins tales of sardonic wit and woe atop infectious melodies that blend elements of garage rock, psych-pop, and jangly lo-fi. The band was formed in the mid-2000s and initially saw Vincent Kircher at its helm as the singer-songwriter and mainstay throughout various lineup changes. Jaill's sound is characterized by its off-kilter hooks, quirky lyrics, and a garage aesthetic that doesn't shy away from pop sensibilities.

The band first garnered significant attention with their 2009 album "There's No Sky (Oh My My)," which led to their signing with the renowned indie label Sub Pop Records. Following this success, they released "That's How We Burn" in 2010, further cementing their reputation as purveyors of catchy, lo-fi, and subtly complex tunes. Over the years, Jaill has continued to be celebrated for their deft songcraft and have put forth a steady stream of releases like "Traps" (2012) and "Wherever It Be," often charming critics and fans alike with their blend of sunny melodies and melancholic undercurrents. The band's ability to meld pop-hook-laden tracks with a bit of a rough edge has kept them an endearing fixture in the indie rock landscape.
