Rogier Pelgrim is a Dutch singer-songwriter from Wageningen, born on November 7, 1986, in Dordrecht. He gained recognition after becoming a finalist in the first season of the TV show "De Beste Singer-Songwriter van Nederland" in 2012 and winning the Grote Prijs van Nederland the same year. Before his solo career, he was part of the rock band Nuclear Playground. Pelgrim has released several albums, including "Roll The Dice" in 2014 and "Birds and Busy People" in 2017. Recently, he has shifted towards creating music in Dutch, with his first Dutch-language album "Dit Is Niet Het Eind" released in 2023. His music often addresses contemporary social themes, and he has performed at numerous festivals and concerts.
