Robertinho Silva
Robertinho Silva is a renowned Brazilian drummer and percussionist born in Rio de Janeiro in 1941. He's known for his innovative fusion of Brazilian rhythms with North American jazz. Silva has had a long and illustrious career, working with many famous musicians including Milton Nascimento, with whom he's collaborated for over 25 years. His discography includes several albums as a leader, such as "Música Popular Brasileira" in 1981 and "Shot on Goal" in 1995. Silva's unique style, blending indigenous Brazilian rhythms with jazz, has earned him international recognition in the world of percussion and drumming.
