Wim Van Hasselt

Wim Van Hasselt is a Belgian-born trumpet virtuoso, currently residing in Switzerland. He has established himself as both a soloist and chamber musician, performing with esteemed orchestras such as the Amsterdam Sinfonietta and the Sophia Philharmonic. His career has also included prominent roles in orchestras like the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam and the Radio Symphony Orchestra Berlin, where he collaborated with illustrious conductors including Mariss Jansons and Gustavo Dudamel. Wim Van Hasselt is a professor of trumpet at the University of Music Freiburg and has been recognized for his albums, which blend tradition with modernity, earning numerous awards and accolades from classical music critics.
