Christian Nanou, born Jaques Christian Nanou Vidmark on October 27, 2002 in Lund, Sweden, is a rising Swedish singer, songwriter, and producer known for blending R&B and pop influences. Raised in the Nöbbelöv neighborhood of northwestern Lund, he grew up in a musical family with a strong connection to West African music and R&B, which shaped his early musical tastes. After developing his craft by writing and producing tracks in English, he co-founded the Malmö-based hip-hop and R&B collective Fugitive Familia in 2020, earning recognition for his smooth vocals and production skills.
In 2022, Nanou moved to Stockholm where he found creative inspiration and began writing music in Swedish. He made his solo debut in April 2024 with the self-produced single "Håll om mig," followed by his debut EP Stockholm in September 2024, featuring collaborations with fellow Swedish artists like Jaqe. Recent releases such as "STHLMDUB," "Kontakt," and "Stockholm" showcase his evolving sound and growing presence on the Swedish music scene.
