Everon is a German progressive rock band formed in 1989 in Krefeld, Nordrhein-Westfalen. The band's original lineup included Oliver Philipps (vocals, guitars, piano, keyboards), Christian "Moschus" Moos (drums), Schymy (bass), and Ralf Janssen (guitar). Over the years, the band has undergone some lineup changes, with Ulli Hoever replacing Janssen after their 1997 album "Venus." Everon's music combines strong electronic synthesizer elements with aggressive, soaring guitars, blending progressive rock and metal influences. Their discography includes notable albums like "Paradoxes" (1993), "Flood" (1995), "Venus" (1997), "Fantasma" (2000), "Bridge" (2002), "Flesh" (2002), "North" (2008), and their latest release, "Shells," which marks a return after a 16-year hiatus.
Everon's music often features complex patterns and melodies, showcasing their progressive style. The band's recent album, "Shells," includes guest appearances by notable vocalists such as Helena Iren Michaelsen and LEAH. Despite not being a full-time working band, Everon has maintained a loyal following and continues to produce music that resonates with fans of progressive rock and metal. Tragically, during the recording of "Shells," drummer Christian "Moschus" Moos passed away, but his contributions to the album remain a testament to his legacy with the band.
