Black Guy Fawkes, the stage name of Ian Robinson, is a folk-punk singer-songwriter originally from Baltimore, MD, now based in Cumberland, MD. Growing up in the DIY music scene, he blends heartfelt folk storytelling with the energy and edge of punk, drawing inspiration from artists like Against Me!, Frank Turner, Green Day, and Bob Dylan. Ian performs both solo and with his backing band, the Co-Conspirators, making his music an engaging mix of raw emotion and punk spirit.

His fifth album, *The Misery Suite* (2025), showcases his introspective lyricism, born from his experiences with therapy and personal growth. The album features a collaborative spirit with contributions from artists across the punk and folk scenes and reflects themes of confronting past struggles and seeking redemption in life and music. With previous releases like *Intrusive Lullabies*, *Racial Battle Fatigue*, and others, Black Guy Fawkes has carved out a unique space in the Appalachian folk punk scene, winning fans through his honest, anthemic songs and energetic live performances.
