Title Fight

Title Fight is an American rock band hailing from Kingston, Pennsylvania. Formed in 2003 by bassist/vocalist Ned Russin, his twin brother Ben on drums, guitarist/vocalist Jamie Rhoden, and guitarist Shane Moran, Title Fight initially cut their teeth in the local punk scene with a raw, energetic sound that melded elements of punk, emo, and hardcore. They spent their early years cultivating a passionate fanbase through vigorous touring and a series of hard-hitting releases like their 2009 EP "The Last Thing You Forget" and their 2011 debut full-length "Shed," which established them as one of the more dynamic and promising acts in the underground punk community.

Over time, Title Fight's musical identity evolved, showcasing their versatility and willingness to experiment with their sound. Their sophomore effort, "Floral Green," released in 2012, saw the band dipping into grungier textures and exhibiting a more melodic and introspective approach to songwriting. With their 2013 EP "Spring Songs," they continued to refine this broader sonic palette, further distancing themselves from their hardcore roots and embracing a more nuanced, melodic indie rock influence. This evolution culminated in their most recent full-length album, "Hyperview," released in 2015. With "Hyperview," Title Fight took a bold leap into shoegaze and post-punk territories, earning critical acclaim for their lush soundscapes and ethereal atmospherics. The band's ability to reimagine their sound while maintaining a core emotional intensity has solidified their status as influential and innovative within the alternative music world.
