Purwien

Purwien is a German synth-pop band centered around singer and songwriter Christian Purwien, who was previously a part of Second Decay. Alongside Christian, core members include musicians Steffen Neuhaus and Marcel Schlepp. Though sometimes considered a solo project in reviews, Purwien evolved into a full band featuring a trio of musicians. The group is known for their German-language lyrics and catchy electronic soundscapes.

Their debut single, "Alle Fehler" (featuring Joachim Witt), released in early 2007, enjoyed six weeks in the German Alternative Charts. The first album, titled *Eins*, included guest narration by Andreas Fröhlich. Over time, Purwien expanded creatively through collaborations, notably with writer and musician Thomas Kowa, resulting in more albums and a series of humorous novels inspired by their shared experiences.
