Benjamin Muñoz

Benjamin Muñoz is an electronic music artist originally from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, who later relocated to the U.K., deeply influenced by the British underground electronic scene. His sound draws from genres like house, garage, 2-step, dubstep, drum and bass, and jungle, shaped by his early love of overlooked records in a local record shop and the internet's broad reach. After a stint with the Hamilton band New Hands, he launched a solo career with his debut track "Anchors," notable for its Burial-inspired atmospheric arrangements. His music often features downtempo piano and ambient textures, exploring emotional themes such as indecision and relationships, as heard in singles like "The Bonds That Fail Us" and "Fear and Its Variants".
